Getting Started & Progression
Shop Inventory Unlocks
Shop inventories expand through several independent systems. Some items appear with a new season or year; others require shipping, Contest progress, the Plow, the Greenhouse, a license or a story step. A condition, its inventory refresh and a random rotation are separate questions.
Current state: this guide reflects the Ver. 1.09 live baseline on September 15, 2026. September 29 additions are shown separately as Upcoming — not live yet.

The count is derived from current shop, seed/sapling, contest, building, hunting and Helping data. It is not a Catalog total and does not include future stock.

Why is it missing?
Check the right layer before waiting another day
Use this order: shop access, sale season, underlying unlock condition, refresh/delivery, then rotation. An open shop does not guarantee every listing.
01
Shop access
Use Shop Schedules for hours, closed days and NPC presence.
02
Sale window
Seasonal stock can remain hidden outside its sale-season field.
03
Unlock gate
Check year, shipping, Contest, Plow, Greenhouse, license or story conditions.
04
Refresh or roll
Some changes are next-day or mail-linked; rotating furniture can be eligible without being displayed.
For opening times and closed days, use Shop Hours & NPC Schedules. This page owns the availability and unlock layer.
How shop unlocks work
Condition, availability, delivery and rotation are different fields
Every entry keeps stable shop/item IDs, condition IDs, season fields, price and stock-limit fields separate from the display state.
Availability
The condition expression is the gate. ANY_OF remains alternatives; it is never silently rewritten as ALL_OF.
Season / year
A sale season is not a Year 2 or Year 3 gate. Both can exist on one record without being flattened.
Refresh
Immediate, next-day, mail-linked and unknown behaviors are represented per entry. No global timing rule is claimed.
Rotation
Pool eligibility does not mean the item is currently rolled into a random furniture or daily display.
Sazanka General Store
Starting and seasonal stock
These groups are generated from the shared Seeds & Saplings records. The guide shows shop availability and unlock ownership without duplicating crop growth or harvest stats.
| Item or group | Shop availability | Unlock | Refresh |
|---|---|---|---|
| Onion, Potato, Daikon, Snow Pea | Spring | Starting stock | Not verified |
| Wheat, Ginger, Green Onion, Cucumber, Edamame, Corn, Sunflower, Tomato, Blueberry, Hops | Summer | Starting stock | Not verified |
| Buckwheat, Taro, Sweet Potato | Autumn | Starting stock | Not verified |
| Spinach, White Radish, Napa Cabbage | Winter | Starting stock | Not verified |
Initial means the unlock gate is present from the start of the current record; the item may still have a sale-season field. A seasonal listing is therefore not automatically year-round.
Crop and Flower authority
Exact seed names, seasons, growth and harvest data remain on the shared farming authority.
Open Seeds & SaplingsPrice and limits
Prices reuse item/shop data. Stock limits are independent and remain null unless the canonical source exposes one.
Open ShopsMail is not the gate
A letter can notify or deliver a state after the condition. It is not substituted for the underlying shipping, story or building condition.
Year-based stock
Year 2 and Year 3 remain explicit
Do not use a generic 'late game' label when the shared record provides a year condition.
Year 2
| Item or group | Shop availability | Unlock | Refresh |
|---|---|---|---|
| Cherry Radish, Pea, Strawberry, Lettuce, Radish | Spring · Year 2+ condition | Reach Year 2 | Not verified |
| Garlic, Pumpkin, Sweet Melon, Eggplant, Green Pepper | Summer · Year 2+ condition | Reach Year 2 | Not verified |
| Olive, Sesame | Autumn · Year 2+ condition | Reach Year 2 | Not verified |
| Lotus Root | Autumn / Winter · Year 2+ condition | Reach Year 2 | Not verified |
| Plum Sapling | Spring · Year 2+ condition | Any of: Ship the qualifying crop/item; Reach Year 2 | Not verified |
Year 2 records include the direct Year 2 crop additions in the current dataset. A record with a shipping fallback appears again in the shipping section because that is an alternative path, not an AND requirement.
Year 3
| Item or group | Shop availability | Unlock | Refresh |
|---|---|---|---|
| Pineapple | Summer · Year 3+ condition | Reach Year 3 | Not verified |
| Cabbage | Spring · Year 3+ condition | Reach Year 3 | Not verified |
Only records whose canonical source resolves to Year 3 are shown here. No generic Year 3 crop list is inferred from comments or screenshots.
Shipping-based unlocks
Read the shipment condition precisely
The current data distinguishes a specific shipment, an ANY_OF shipping/year fallback, two distinct seasons and a Fruit-category threshold.
Specific shipping
| Item or group | Shop availability | Unlock | Refresh |
|---|---|---|---|
| Carrot, Asparagus | Spring | Ship the qualifying crop/item | Not verified |
| Soybean | Autumn | Ship the qualifying crop/item | Not verified |
| Mulberry Sapling | Year-round or not listed | Ship the qualifying crop/item | Not verified |
ANY_OF: shipping or Year 2
| Item or group | Shop availability | Unlock | Refresh |
|---|---|---|---|
| Plum Sapling | Spring · Year 2+ condition | Any of: Ship the qualifying crop/item; Reach Year 2 | Not verified |
These alternatives are modeled as ANY_OF. Meeting either branch is enough where the shared record says so; shipping and Year 2 are not accidentally combined.
Two distinct seasons
| Item or group | Shop availability | Unlock | Refresh |
|---|---|---|---|
| Watermelon, Sugarcane, Peach Sapling | Summer | Ship qualifying crops in two distinct seasons | Not verified |
| Cherry Sapling | Spring | Ship qualifying crops in two distinct seasons | Not verified |
| Pear Sapling, Apple Sapling | Autumn | Ship qualifying crops in two distinct seasons | Not verified |
| Mandarin Sapling | Winter | Ship qualifying crops in two distinct seasons | Not verified |
Watermelon, Sugarcane and the canonical two-season fruit sapling records use a distinct-season condition. Two qualifying seasons is not two shipments.
Fruit-category shipping
| Item or group | Shop availability | Unlock | Refresh |
|---|---|---|---|
| Grape Sapling | Summer | Ship enough from the Fruit category | Not verified |
| Persimmon Sapling | Autumn | Ship enough from the Fruit category | Not verified |
| Lemon Sapling, Yuzu Sapling | Winter | Ship enough from the Fruit category | Not verified |
Fruit-category shipment progress is not the same as owning a Fruit Tree. The numeric threshold remains null.
Special inventory gates
Plow, Contest and Greenhouse
Tool, Contest and building conditions remain separate from ordinary seasonal stock.
| Item or group | Shop availability | Unlock | Refresh |
|---|---|---|---|
| Rice | Spring | Obtain the Plow | Not verified |
| Wasabi | Spring / Summer | Obtain the Plow | Not verified |
| Tea | Year-round or not listed | Participate in one Contest | Not verified |
| Shiitake, Shimeji, Wood Ear Mushroom | Autumn | Participate in Contests; count unresolved | Not verified |
| Mango Sapling, Cacao Sapling, Banana Sapling | Year-round or not listed | Complete the Greenhouse | Not verified |
Paddy / Plow
Rice and Wasabi use the Plow condition. Lotus Root keeps its own Year 2 condition and is not folded into the Plow gate.
Open Paddy FarmingContest
Tea uses Contest participation; Mushroom Kit participation count remains null. Participation is not automatically a win or S Rank.
Open Festivals & ContestsGreenhouse
Mango, Banana and Cacao remain Greenhouse-completion saplings. The Greenhouse does not turn every seasonal seed into permanent shop stock.
Open GreenhouseChinana Street Stall
Conditional livestock stock
The stall owns animal purchasing, clothing and equipment. This page shows only the conditional livestock layer; husbandry and product details remain on Livestock.
| Item or group | Shop availability | Unlock | Refresh |
|---|---|---|---|
| Chicken Chick, Duckling, Calf, Lamb | Year-round or not listed | Shop progression; exact trigger unresolved | Not verified |
| Turkey Chick, Turkey | Year-round or not listed | Earn S Rank with a Chicken | Not verified |
| Kid Goat, Goat | Year-round or not listed | Participate in a Livestock Contest | Not verified |
| Piglet, Pig | Year-round or not listed | Earn A Rank or higher in Livestock | Not verified |
| Foal, Horse | Year-round or not listed | Complete the Livestock Barn | Not verified |
| Cashmere Goat | Year-round or not listed | Earn two Livestock S-Rank results | Not verified |
Goat
Participate in a Livestock Contest; no rank requirement is encoded.
Pig
Earn A Rank or higher in Livestock; this is not Goat's participation rule.
Turkey
Earn S Rank with a Chicken; species-specific rank is preserved.
Cashmere Goat
Earn two Livestock S-Rank results; count 2 is preserved.
Horse is a separate building-plus-Chinana-mail chain. The current canonical condition is Livestock Barn completion; it is not a Livestock Contest unlock. Use Livestock Unlocks for the full species authority.
Other sellers
Hunter Lodge, clothing and progression services
The current shop registry includes other sellers, but several exact condition triggers are intentionally unresolved.

| Anvil | Year-round or not listed | Complete Sazanka's Spring Helping Event | next-day |
Hunter Lodge
Traps, bait and licenses are linked to the hunting system. The current shop export does not establish a more precise universal shop trigger.
Open HuntingFurniture
Furniture pool availability and currently displayed rotation are different. The current rotation period is null; do not publish an approximate four-day cycle as canonical.
Open FurnitureChawantei
Restaurant menu and repeated-eating recipe semantics remain on Recipes. This page does not turn purchased food into generic shop inventory.
Open RecipesMail and inventory refresh
A letter can be delivery, notification or an unresolved step
The repository separates the underlying condition from the later inventory state. It does not use letter subject text as an unlock detector.
Complete Sazanka's Spring Helping Event
next-day
The Sazanka Helping reward explicitly names a following-day General Store addition; the repository does not provide a stable mail event ID.
Mail event ID: null · read required: null
Ship the qualifying crop/item
Timing unknown
A shipping-to-letter pattern is a research lead, but the current repository does not pin a universal event or read requirement.
Mail event ID: null · read required: null
Participate in a Livestock Contest
Timing unknown
Chinana mail is documented as a step after animal progression; exact next-day behavior and reading requirement remain unresolved.
Mail event ID: null · read required: null
Complete the Livestock Barn
Timing unknown
Construct the Livestock Barn; Chinana then sends a mail announcing the Horse stock.
Mail event ID: null · read required: null
Known: the Sazanka Helping Event names an Anvil addition for the following day. Unknown: a universal shipping letter event, exact Chinana next-day timing and whether opening a letter is required. Do not globally assume immediate stock, next-day stock or mail-gated stock.
Alternate acquisition
Finding an item elsewhere does not unlock shop stock
A source relationship is not automatically a shop-state mutation.
Pear Sapling
The Fruit Tree record also reports a wild-bird source. That alternate acquisition does not change the General Store condition.
Fruit TreesBird drops
Birds can provide some plant items earlier, but a Bird drop does not prove that normal shop stock is unlocked.
CropsMud Seed
A Mud Seed crop outcome does not automatically unlock that crop's General Store seed. Midnight acquisition remains a separate system.
Mud Seeds & Cursed CropsUpcoming — not live yet
September 29 shop additions
These records are version-aware and excluded from the current live inventory count, current Catalog count and current livestock count. They are NOT LIVE ON 2026-09-15.
General Store — 11 Camp furniture items
Condition: obtain the Pheasant Hunting License. Items: Camp Dining Table, Camp Table, Camp Chair, Camp Bench, Camp Bed, Large Camp Bed, Camp Box, Camp Wardrobe, Camp Firewood Rack, Camp Lantern and Camp Mat.
Street Stall
Silkie and Duck: reach Year 1 Autumn. Fluffy Cow and Spotted Goat: have purchased Goat. All four are future additions after the September 29 update.
The future Furniture Catalog is a separate ordering feature, not current General Store inventory. See Furniture for that boundary.

FAQ
Shop inventory questions
Why is a seed missing from the General Store?
Check the current sale season first, then the record's year, shipping, Contest, Plow or Greenhouse condition. A shop can be open while a listing is still locked.
When do Year 2 seeds appear?
The current canonical seed records mark Year 2 where it is the actual condition. Year 2 is kept separate from a seasonal arrival and from shipment progress.
Which seeds unlock in Year 3?
Pineapple and any other record whose canonical condition is Year 3 are grouped in the Year 3 section. Do not infer a generic Year 3 list from an item comment.
Does shipping two crops count as two seasons?
No. A two-season condition means qualifying shipments occurred in two distinct seasons. It is not a quantity-of-two shipment rule.
How do I unlock Grape, Persimmon, Lemon or Yuzu Saplings?
They use the Fruit-category shipment condition, but the repository does not confirm the numeric threshold. This guide publishes null rather than guessing 20, 50 or 100.
How do I unlock Rice and Wasabi?
Obtain the Plow. The current Paddy and seed records use the Plow ID; Hoe and Sickle are not substitutes.
Does the Greenhouse make every seed available all year?
No. The Greenhouse removes the outdoor growing-season restriction, but shop stock keeps each seed's own sale-season and unlock fields.
How do I unlock Goat at Chinana's stall?
Participate in a Livestock Contest. The current canonical condition is participation, not S Rank; Chinana's mail step is separate and its exact timing is unresolved.
Why is unlocked furniture not showing?
A furniture pool unlock and the item currently appearing in a random or rotating display are separate states. The current repository does not confirm a universal rotation period.
Do shop unlocks happen immediately?
Not universally. The Sazanka Helping Event explicitly names a following-day Anvil addition; other mail and refresh timings remain item-specific or unknown.
Does opening a letter unlock the stock?
The current repository does not establish a universal read requirement. Mail notification and the underlying condition are modeled separately.
Which September 29 shop items are not available yet?
The 11 Camp furniture items, Silkie, Duck, Fluffy Cow and Spotted Goat are future additions on this September 15, 2026 site state.
