Character Customization Guide
Your protagonist's name is permanent after confirmation, but the starting appearance and clothing are not treated as permanent. Later editing uses the documented Dresser/Vanity and Wardrobe boundary; additional hairstyles are associated with Tamatebako during Midnight.

Name ≠ appearance. A Dresser, Mirror alias or Wardrobe must never be described as a rename tool. Game mode is also a permanent save choice, but it is not a cosmetic slot.
What You Choose at Character Creation
The current canonical slot model is English-first and does not derive names or counts from screenshots. All six records are creation-time fields; option-set counts remain null where the repository has no normalized list.

Name is selected at creation but is intentionally kept outside the appearance-slot database. Body, face, eyes, skin, voice and gender are not added without canonical repository records.
What Can and Cannot Be Changed Later
Reversible boundary
The current Missables record marks appearance and clothing as cosmetic-change-later under mirror-or-wardrobe. Clothing is the only slot with an explicit later-edit boolean in the current structured model.
Immutable boundary
Ame is the current default Japanese protagonist name. After confirmation, the name is not editable through appearance furniture. Mode is likewise not switchable on the current save.
Missables authority →How to Change Your Appearance
Use the functional appearance-edit furniture route when available. The current repository confirms the later-edit condition but does not normalize a stable furniture entity ID, placement restriction, interaction cost or exact UI label.
dresser-vanity
Dresser / Vanity
Entity IDs: Unknown. Editable slots: Unknown. Shared with the other facility: Unknown.
The current source confirms later appearance editing through the Dresser/Mirror concept, but the repository does not normalize a stable furniture entity ID, color family or per-slot function table.
Furniture acquisition authority →wardrobe
Wardrobe
Entity IDs: Unknown. Editable slots: Unknown. Shared with the other facility: Unknown.
Wardrobe is included in the later appearance condition, but the current repository does not prove whether it edits the same slots as Dresser/Vanity or clothing only.
Furniture acquisition authority →Do not assume any specific Dresser color, Wardrobe color or furniture variant has different editing behavior. Furniture Dyeing changes furniture color; it does not prove a player Hair Color or Clothing Color system.
Dresser / Mirror
Canonical terminology
Dresser / Vanity (鏡台)
“Mirror” is retained as a source alias for the later appearance condition, not as a third independent facility. Stable furniture IDs, base design family, color variants and per-slot behavior remain unknown.

Wardrobe
Wardrobe is a separate conceptual facility record because the current source names it separately. Its entity IDs, acquisition source, placement location, editable slot set and overlap with Dresser/Vanity are all Unknown. Do not collapse it into Dresser behavior or infer that it changes hair.

Hair
Front Hair, Back Hair & Hair Color
Front Hair and Back Hair remain separate slot IDs. The repository does not prove whether they combine as parts, whether Tamatebako rewards one part or a full style, whether all creation colors remain available later, or whether any color is unlocked independently.

Hair Color count
No hairstyle names are invented from images. The unlockable hairstyle count is also unknown because Tamatebako's shared reward record stores a category with null count and no exact reward IDs.
Clothing & Accessories
The shared Shop dataset supplies the current stable English names below. Prices, rotation and progression remain owned by the Shop/Shop Inventory authorities; this page only summarizes cosmetic source identity.

Accessories (5)
cowboy-hat— Cowboy Hatdetective-hat— Detective Hatcap— Capglasses— Glassessunglasses— Sunglasses
Neck slot
A separate neck creation slot is canonical. Whether it means a necklace, scarf or another dedicated item class is Unknown; no records are published.
Colors and gameplay effects
Clothing/accessory color variants, equip-state semantics and gameplay stats are Unknown. No HP, Stamina, Friendship, movement or luck effects are claimed.
Cosmetic Sources
Initial
Six creation slots are documented. Complete initial option lists and counts are Unknown.
Chinana Street Vendor
Four clothing and five accessory records are canonical shop entries. Rotation order is not duplicated here.
Shops →Tamatebako
A shared reward category includes Hairstyles and Blueprints. This page filters to the hairstyle relation only.
Tamatebako →Festival / story / friendship
Complete cosmetic pools and stable player-cosmetic records are Unknown. Do not promote furniture or unrelated festival rewards.
Dyeing Table
Furniture Dyeing recolors compatible furniture. It is not evidence of player Hair Color, Clothing Color or Accessory Color editing.
Furniture Dyeing →Future content
September 29 Furniture Catalog/Camp content is future furniture data, not a confirmed future clothing or hairstyle pool.
How to Unlock More Hairstyles
Tamatebako appears during Midnight, can have multiple encounters in one session, and its encounter page owns spawn locations and defeat mechanics.

The reward pool also contains Blueprints and Talismans. A Blueprint result does not prove the cosmetic pool is complete, and one special Tamatebako reward does not prove all hairstyles are obtained.

Customization availability
Shared customization support is recorded: Yes. This does not establish identical per-slot editors, shop stock, hairstyle pool or postgame behavior.
Tamatebako hairstyles
Alternate source: Unknown. Availability: Unknown. Tamatebako is Midnight content, but no alternate-source audit is strong enough to claim parity or unavailability.
Mode is not a customization setting. See Save System for save boundaries and Missables for permanent choices.
Are Cosmetics Needed for Completion?
Cosmetic option unlocks and furniture Catalog entries are separate. The repository does not prove universal Catalog tracking or a cosmetic requirement for full completion.

Common Problems
I want to rename my character
The current game does not allow protagonist renaming after confirmation. Appearance editing is a separate system.
I dislike my starting hairstyle
Later appearance editing is supported in the broad source boundary, but the exact per-slot furniture function remains unknown.
I found a Blueprint instead of Hair
Tamatebako has multiple reward categories. A Blueprint result is not evidence that its hairstyle category is complete.
I am playing Village in the Sunshine
Use the mode-specific null boundary. Do not claim an alternate Tamatebako hairstyle source until one is canonical.
FAQ
Yes. The current Missables record marks appearance and clothing as changeable later through the mirror-or-wardrobe condition. Exact per-slot facility behavior remains unresolved.
No. The protagonist name is fixed after confirmation. The current default Japanese name is Ame.
Front Hair, Back Hair and Hair Color are separate creation slots. Their later editor controls and option counts are not normalized in the current repository.
The source hierarchy supports a Dresser/Vanity appearance-edit concept, but stable furniture IDs and exact slot coverage are still null. Mirror is treated as a source alias, not a second system.
Wardrobe is included in the later appearance condition. The repository does not prove whether it edits clothes only or overlaps with Dresser/Vanity.
Tamatebako has a hairstyle reward category during Midnight. The shared reward record does not provide canonical hairstyle IDs, names, count or duplicate rules.
The reward category is present, but probability, owned-pool filtering, duplicate behavior and permanent-unlock semantics are all null.
The canonical shop dataset contains four Street Vendor clothing records and five accessory records. Shop rotation and complete event/festival pools belong to the shop/event authorities.
Not proven. Furniture Catalog registration and player cosmetic unlocks are separate data boundaries, and the current cosmetic records use null Catalog tracking.
Shared customization support is recorded, but Tamatebako hairstyle accessibility and alternate sources are unknown. Do not infer parity or unavailability.
No postgame rename route is recorded. Postgame cosmetic-editor availability is also null.
