Typical Request Reward

Village in the Shade uses several different request systems. Random villager requests, one-time Helping Ticket tasks and the long-term Delivery Catalog have different rules and rewards, so this guide keeps them separate.

Villager Requests

Recurring requests arrive from the Bulletin Board or conversations. Their complete item pool is dynamic rather than a fixed checklist.

Random Villager Requests

How Villager Requests Work

Normal requests can come from the village Bulletin Board or appear through conversations with villagers. The Bulletin Board becomes available early in Year 1, around Spring 8 in current walkthrough data.

Complete and turn in a request

  1. Obtain the requested item.
  2. Return to the requester.
  3. Select the item and use the delivery / 納品 action.

Reward

¥1,000

Deadline

Usually 5–7 days

Why didn't the Bulletin Board refresh?

Completing a posted request does not immediately replace it with a new one. The request remains on the Bulletin Board until its original deadline expires, after which the board can refresh.

The full random request item pool is not currently documented as a fixed list. Requests may ask for different items depending on progression, including items the player has not encountered yet.

Spring Helping Ticket Tasks

Choose progression tasks by NPC, objective or unlock

During Spring story progression, Rin gives Helping Tickets that lead into a fixed set of villager tasks. These are progression tasks rather than the repeatable ¥1,000 random requests.

Luxury catalog: Premium crop and livestock groups require branded / contest-qualified goods through the ranking system. See how contest branding supplies these goods. Do not reduce this to a generic Gold Quality assumption. Rare Gems do not automatically inherit the branding requirement.

Planning Order

Prepare requests without blocking your main progression

Requests are easier to manage when you separate one-time unlocks from repeatable deliveries. Use the filters above to identify the next dependency, then gather only the materials that support the route you are currently following.

Start with access

Clear tasks that open new routes

Mountain access, the Crossroads Shrine, hunting licenses and other system unlocks can open additional sources for later requests. Check the task unlocks before spending time on a delivery that depends on a locked area.

Then build supply

Group materials by how they are produced

Use the Crops Guide for seasonal produce, the Livestock Guide for animal products and the Processing Guide for pickles, alcohol and seasonings.

Keep rare items separate

Do not spend a unique drop automatically

Fish, hunting materials and rare gems can appear in multiple systems. Before delivery, compare the request with Fishing, Hunting and Resources so you do not consume an item needed elsewhere.

Finish by category

Use the binder reward as a long-term target

The Delivery Catalog is not a random request list. Track one category at a time, use the local progress controls, and leave luxury or branded requirements until the relevant quality and ranking systems are ready.

Localization and Data Note

What remains unknown

This guide uses the current Japanese release. The 12 Spring Helping Tasks and 32 Delivery Catalog groups are substantially documented, while the ordinary villager-request item pool remains dynamic and is not treated as a fixed complete checklist.

Some English item, furniture and building names may change when official localization is available. Medium Fish production uses Japanese Mitten Crab ×3, Amago ×3 and Hotokedojo ×3; older conflicting source values are retained only in research records.

FAQ

Requests and delivery answers

How do I get villager requests?

Normal requests can appear on the Bulletin Board or through conversations with villagers.

How long do requests last?

Most ordinary requests documented in current guides last roughly five to seven days, although the exact deadline can vary.

Are all villager requests fixed?

No. Ordinary villager requests are a recurring random system, so this guide does not pretend there is a fixed complete list of every possible request.

How many Spring Helping Tasks are there?

The currently documented Helping Ticket sequence contains 12 villager tasks.

How many Delivery Catalog groups are there?

There are eight categories with four groups each, for 32 fixed delivery groups in total.

What unlocks the Large Fish Pond?

Complete all four Fish Delivery Catalog groups: Small Fish, Medium Fish, Large Fish and Phantom Fish.

What does high quality mean in the Luxury catalog?

Some premium crop and livestock deliveries require branded goods tied to the contest/ranking system rather than ordinary versions of the item.
