Quarry Floor Guide
Quarry Floors & Ore Distribution Guide
The Quarry runs from B1 to B120. Copper can appear from B1, Iron around B40, Gold around B80 and Meteorite around B91, but dedicated veins and focused farming floors sit deeper than some first-appearance points.
Short answer
Copper Ore
B21
Best focused farm floor
Iron Ore
B61
Best focused farm floor
Gold Ore
B101
Best focused farm floor
Meteorite
B111
Best focused farm floor
Those four numbers are recommendations, not spawn thresholds. The table below keeps first appearance, dedicated vein start and farming target separate.
Quick Ore Table
First appearance is not the same as the best farm floor
Use B20, B60, B100 and B110 as Minecart starting points for the adjacent target floors. None of B21, B61, B101 or B111 is a direct Minecart destination in the current data.

How to Read the Data
A floor number can answer three different questions
The Quarry is not modeled as mutually exclusive 20-floor resource tiers. The bands below are a mobile-friendly summary of known milestones and player-tested routes, not a generated B1–B120 spawn table.
B1–B20
Copper can appear from B1. The player-tested Copper / Rock Salt loop sits in B11–20; use B20 as the return point before dropping to the dedicated Copper Vein range.
B21–B40
B21 is the Copper recommendation. Iron can appear around B40, while the dedicated Iron Vein starts at B41, so B40 is not a substitute for the vein boundary.
B41–B60
This band is the first dedicated Iron Vein band. Push to B60 for a Minecart stop, then descend one floor for the B61 Iron recommendation.
B61–B80
B61 is the focused Iron recommendation. B80 is a checkpoint and the reported first-appearance boundary for Gold; neither means the other resource stops existing.
B81–B100
Gold Veins begin at B81. Gold has a B101 farming recommendation, while Meteorite first appears around B91; deeper materials overlap rather than replacing earlier ones.
B101–B120
B101 is the focused Gold route. B110 is the last confirmed Minecart shortcut before the B120 boss; descend manually to B111 for the Meteorite recommendation and stop treating B120 as a normal farm checkpoint.
First descent
Prioritize finding the hole and reaching the next 10-floor checkpoint. You do not need to clear every rock on the way down.
Resource run
Return by Minecart to the nearest confirmed stop, then descend to the target floor and prioritize ore-bearing rocks and large veins.
Why the floors differ
A material can appear earlier while dedicated veins or more efficient farming opportunities are listed later. Exact probabilities and vein yields are not published here.
Best Floors by Ore
Route each metal without collapsing its boundaries
Use the nearest checkpoint, then walk to the actual target. The tool requirement is kept separate because current data does not map a precise Pickaxe tier to each floor.

Useful non-metal drops

Pickaxe & Skills
Visibility is not the same as mineability
The current tool data does not encode a precise per-ore Pickaxe tier gate or a floor lock.
- Pickaxe upgrades reduce the number of hits needed to break rocks.
- They allow access to more valuable material types as progression opens.
- Mining Technique adds extra Stone, while Ore Vein Discovery improves the chance to find a vein; the page does not turn those effects into an ore drop multiplier.
- Do not infer a mandatory Pickaxe tier from a floor number.

Rocks, Veins & Holes
Choose the right node
Ordinary rocks and ore-bearing rocks serve different purposes in a progression run.
- Ordinary rocks can reveal the hole to the next floor; you can descend as soon as you find it.
- Ore-bearing rocks and large veins are for material collection. Current testing does not show them revealing the floor hole.
- Large ore veins provide more ore than ordinary nodes, but the exact quantity is not canonically published.
- Quarry enemies include insects and bats; they deal damage on contact and can be handled with the Pickaxe.

B120 Endpoint
B110 → B120 boss → Hot Spring
The final route is progression content, not a normal repeated ore checkpoint.
Use B110 as the nearest confirmed Minecart route, continue to B120 and clear the boss event. The Hot Spring then appears through the next-day progression. This page does not duplicate the boss walkthrough or claim a repeatable B120 mining loop.

Time, Stamina and combat still matter
Quarry exploration consumes time and Stamina, and enemies can damage you.
Bring recovery items, leave room in your inventory and decide whether the day is for descending or farming. For broader mining mechanics, use Mining; for money routes, compare the Money Making Guide.
FAQ
Quarry floor questions
How deep is the Quarry?
The current canonical Quarry reaches B120. B120 is the deepest floor and the boss endpoint; this guide does not create B121 or an infinite-floor model.
Where does Copper Ore start appearing?
Copper Ore can appear from B1. The dedicated Copper Vein starts at B21, and B21 is the current focused farming recommendation.
Where does Iron Ore start appearing?
Iron Ore first appears around B40 in mining guidance, while the dedicated Iron Vein is listed from B41. The current focused farming floor is B61.
Where does Gold Ore start appearing?
Gold Ore first appears around B80, while the dedicated Gold Vein begins at B81. B101 is the focused farming recommendation.
Where does Meteorite appear?
The canonical item is Meteorite with stable ID meteoric-iron. It first appears around B91, its dedicated vein starts at B91, and B111 is the current focused farming floor.
Can I Minecart directly to B120?
No direct B120 shortcut is supported by the current checkpoint data. B110 is the nearest confirmed destination; from there, continue through the final route to B120.
Are B21, B61, B101 and B111 Minecart destinations?
No. They are resource targets, not 10-floor checkpoint destinations. Use B20, B60, B100 or B110 respectively, then descend to the target floor.
Where do Quarry gemstones come from?
The current material model lists gemstones from Quarry rocks and gemstone ore. Exact gemstone floor ranges and drop probabilities remain unspecified.
What materials are needed for the Greenhouse?
Glass Fragment is a Quarry material that becomes Glass Rod in the Furnace. The existing Greenhouse construction record requires 150 Glass Rods, which is 750 Glass Fragments at five fragments per rod.
What happens at B120?
B120 contains the Quarry boss endpoint. Clearing that boss event unlocks the Hot Spring after the event’s next-day progression; use the dedicated Hot Spring guide for the encounter details.
