What the Shrine Does
What Are Shrine Skills?
The Crossroads Shrine is the game's main skill-progression system. Shrine nodes unlock farming techniques, machines, sell-price bonuses, storage improvements, gathering bonuses, social bonuses and other quality-of-life upgrades.
Skills are purchased with Magatama and later Shrine resources such as Bronze Mirrors and Swords. Learn how Magatama are acquired. Magatama themselves are resources; the gameplay bonuses come from Shrine skills rather than from carrying or equipping a Magatama.

Why Isn't This Shrine Skill Available?
Having the required materials does not reveal every node from the beginning.
- Later repair stage: The skill may belong to a later Shrine repair group.
- Update-added node: カマの強化 was added through a later update and has an uncertain Stage 4–5 availability boundary.
- Graph not mapped: The documented stage is known, but exact node-to-node connections are not claimed.

Shrine Skills Questions
How many Shrine skills are there?
The current documented Shrine table contains 80 nodes across five repair stages plus one update-added node.
Do all Shrine skills cost Magatama?
Most paid nodes use one or more Magatama types, while later skills can also require Bronze Mirrors and Swords. The Shrine-opening node itself has no resource cost.
Why can't I see a skill even though I have the materials?
The skill may belong to a later Shrine repair stage. Having the resources does not reveal every node from the beginning.
Do different Magatama give passive bonuses?
No passive bonus is documented for simply carrying a Magatama. Magatama are Shrine resources; the Shrine skills provide the actual gameplay effects.
What is the difference between 鉱脈の発見術 and 採掘の技術?
鉱脈の発見術 increases the chance of finding ore veins in the Quarry, while 採掘の技術 increases the amount of stone obtained from mining.
Do sell-price upgrades stack?
The Shrine lists base and upgraded shipping skills with stated effects of +5% and +10%. This guide does not assume they stack to +15% unless that behavior is independently verified.
What does Storage Box Linking do?
It lets you switch between placed storage boxes from the storage interface. It does not mean every crafting station can automatically use materials from every box on the map.
Is White Bait required to catch Nushi?
No. White Bait is a Shrine-unlocked bait that helps with rare fish, but current research does not support treating it as mandatory for Nushi catches.
What is the update-added Sickle skill?
カマの強化 was added in Ver. 1.08 and allows crops to be harvested with the Sickle. It is separate from カマの技術, which reduces Sickle stamina consumption.
