Calendar Navigation
Year 1 Calendar & Seasonal Progression Guide
Use this page to orient yourself around the first year: fixed events, birthdays, seasonal preparation and the early systems that open as the story progresses. It is a navigation layer, not a replacement for the detailed Walkthrough or specialist event guides.
The rule that prevents most calendar mistakes
Festivals, Contests and birthdays use fixed calendar dates. Main-story dates can move, especially after Summer begins.
Weather, deliveries, shop access and Midnight progression can change when a later scene becomes eligible. A date seen in a walkthrough is not automatically a hard event trigger.
Calendar basics
28 days × 4 seasons
The current calendar model uses stable season IDs and does not need invented weekday labels.

Mochi is earned through the pounding activity. Kagami Mochi is associated with the Year-End Festival, but its exact acquisition condition is not claimed here.
Year 1
Hanami is fixed to Spring 12 but the shared record marks it as first available from Year 2. It is therefore shown as a fixed annual date with a Year 2+ availability label, not as a Year 1 activity.
Spring progression
Important unlock references, not fake deadlines
The Spring opening is denser because tutorials and core systems arrive close together.

Reference dates versus flexible story
The story model intentionally preserves sequence conditions instead of flattening them into a date table.
Approximate / story-dependent
Story clear reference
Late Winter is a reference progression only. Rules, weather, deliveries and Midnight progress can move the date.
Why your date may differ
- Weather can block or alter weather-gated opportunities.
- Deliveries and shop opening hours can affect when a prerequisite is completed.
- Midnight exploration and anomaly progression are not ordinary fixed-date events.
- Rules V–VII are flexible Sacred Treasure routes, so late story dates should be read as sequence milestones.
Seasonal planning
What to prepare before the season changes
Plan around real event requirements without claiming that every crop dies on Day 28.
Spring
Seasonal crops, forage and fishing
The pool changes with the season; use specialist availability tables.
Open specialist guide →Summer
Summer Festival preparation
Budget for optional stalls and keep recipe-learning plans separate from the event date.
Open specialist guide →Autumn
Sweet Potato for Harvest Festival
Keep at least one Sweet Potato before Autumn 23; quality is not required for the activity.
Open specialist guide →Winter
Year-End and postgame continuation
Winter 27 Contest precedes the Winter 28 Year-End Festival, even in the documented postgame reference.
Open specialist guide →Before fixed events
Before Spring 12, Spring 27, Summer 15, Summer 27, Autumn 23, Autumn 27, Winter 27 and Winter 28, finish important morning chores before entering the Plaza. Festivals and Contests can advance the clock when you leave; use their exact event pages for mechanics.
Weather and systems
Opportunities that do not belong on a fixed date
Rain, Thunderstorm, Snow, Midnight, seasonal forage, fish and shop inventory should be checked by condition, not pre-filled onto the calendar.
The in-game Wall Calendar is also useful: after the relevant Hasumi Helping event, inspect it to check event dates. This website guide complements that item; it does not replace the in-game state of your save.
What changes in Year 2?
Later-year content exists, including additional seeds, crops, animals and seasonal progression. Annual events continue where the shared data confirms recurrence, but this page does not assume that every reward, festival or story scene repeats identically.
After the ending
The calendar continues after Clear Data. The reference progression shows a Winter 27 Contest and Winter 28 Year-End Festival after story clear, while the actual clear date can vary.

Year 1 calendar questions
How many days are in each season?
Each season has 28 days. The four seasons make one in-game year.
Are story events on fixed dates?
Not always. The opening dates below are reference points or story-sequence events. From Summer onward, weather, deliveries and Midnight progression can shift later scenes.
When are the Contests?
A Contest is held on Day 27 of Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter, from 10:00 to 16:00 at the Village Plaza.
When is Hanami?
Cherry Blossom Viewing is fixed to Spring 12 from 10:00 to 19:00, but the current data makes it available from Year 2 rather than the first Spring.
When is the Harvest Festival?
Autumn 23 from 10:00 to 19:00. Keep at least one Sweet Potato ready. A story conflict can skip or cancel it.
Does a Birthday Gift count toward the weekly limit?
No. The current Friendship data treats a Birthday Gift as separate from the normal weekly gift allowance.
Does the calendar continue after Year 1 or after the ending?
Yes. The calendar continues into later years and postgame. Use the Postgame and Completion Roadmap guides for later cleanup, without assuming every reward repeats identically.
