Processing Guide

Village in the Shade Oil Press Guide

The Oil Press produces cooking oils, Soy Sauce, and ten colors of Dye. Unlike many other processing machines, it also uses a separate fuel system. The base machine is crafted at a Workbench with 5 Iron Ingots and 2 Heavy Stone.

The short version

Oils, Soy Sauce, and ten Dyes

The machine has 15 documented output families. Its fuel rules are separate from recipe ingredients, and the base capacity is not verified.

Operating boundary

Fuel is a separate input

Pine Resin is the confirmed fuel relationship. Its exact quantity and consumption behavior are not published because the current audit does not verify them.

Fuel System

Does the Oil Press Need Fuel?

Fuel is tracked independently from recipe inputs.

Confirmed fuel relationship

Pine Resin

Pine Resin is associated with both the base and upgraded Oil Press. The current source set does not verify quantity, per-cycle consumption, persistence or mixed-load behavior.

Separate resource

Small Animal Bone

Small Animal Bone is a Dye ingredient with Hunting Delivery and Premium Fertilizer uses. The current repository does not confirm it as Oil Press fuel.

Troubleshooting

Common Oil Press problems

Check the machine's exact input family before changing your progression plan.

Can't craft it?

Confirm that the Shrine skill is learned, then check for Iron Ingot ×5 and Heavy Stone ×2 at the Workbench.

A flower is rejected

Not every flower is compatible with every Dye. Use the source-backed color family and its required secondary material.

Expecting faster batches?

The upgrade confirms up to 3 materials at once. It does not confirm a three-times-faster processing cycle.
