Processing Guide

Village in the Shade Silkworm Box Guide

The Silkworm Box turns Mulberry Leaves into Raw Silk. Unlock its Shrine skill during the third repair stage, craft the box at a Workbench with 60 Wood and 20 Bamboo, then wait two days for processing. Raw Silk can later continue into Silk with the Loom.

The short version

Leaf in. Raw Silk out.

The two items are separate. Mulberry Fruit is not the Silkworm Box input, and Raw Silk is not the same item as Silk.

Mulberry

How to Get Mulberry Leaves

Mulberry is treated as a field-grown shrub record, not one of the site's Fruit Tree records.

Watering

Required

The current source records a 2-day regrowth value and a harvest quantity of 2 for the leaf and fruit records. It does not establish a universal clearance rule, so this guide does not borrow one from Pear or another Fruit Tree.

Classification note

Not a Fruit Tree record

Mulberry produces both Mulberry Leaves and Mulberry Fruit, but the current research classifies it as a low shrub or field-grown item rather than one of the 13 Fruit Tree records.

Mulberry Fruit is a separate product and is not the Silkworm Box input.

See the separate Fruit Trees authority →

Processing

How to Make Raw Silk

Put the correct part of the Mulberry harvest into the box, then allow the full cycle to finish.

01

Load Mulberry Leaf

The process input is Mulberry Leaf ×1. Mulberry Fruit is not interchangeable with it.

02

Wait two days

The verified processing time belongs to Mulberry Leaf → Raw Silk. Exact clock timing and collection-day semantics are not separately documented.

03

Collect Raw Silk

The source records a sell price of ¥125. Output quantity is not stated clearly enough to publish a ratio.

The current record does not show a separate Silkworm item requirement. The documented process recipe only names Mulberry Leaf as the input.

Troubleshooting

Why can't I craft the Silkworm Box?

Check the real unlock and material gates before looking for a hidden quest.

Shrine stage

Confirm the Shrine has reached Repair Stage 3. The skill is not a Stage 2 or Stage 4 unlock.

Skill learned

Reaching the stage is not the same as purchasing the Silkworm Box skill. Check the skill node itself.

Shrine resources

Have Rain Magatama ×2, Twin Magatama ×1, Child Magatama ×1 and Bronze Mirror ×1.

Workbench

The machine recipe requires a Workbench crafting station.

Wood

The verified recipe uses canonical Wood ×60, not Easy Wood.

Bamboo

The verified recipe uses Bamboo ×20.

Troubleshooting

Why isn't Raw Silk ready?

The two-day timer applies to the Leaf to Raw Silk stage.

The full timer has not finished

Raw Silk processing is listed as 2 days. Do not assign the Loom's 1-day record to this stage.

The box was not loaded

Check that Mulberry Leaf was actually placed in the Silkworm Box before waiting.

Output still needs collection

The current source does not document exact collection timing, so collect the completed output before troubleshooting seasons or weather.
