Final Tool Upgrade Guide

Village in the Shade Meteorite Tools Guide

Meteorite is the final metal upgrade tier for the Watering Can, Hoe, Axe, Pickaxe and Plow. Unlock the Meteorite Mold through Sazanka's progression, buy it for ¥20,000, process Meteorite into Meteorite Ingots in the Furnace, then use the Anvil to upgrade an eligible tool.

English item and system names currently follow the site's Japanese-release terminology and may be updated after the official English localization can be verified on October 27, 2026.

Finish the relevant Sazanka Helping Ticket progression, buy 隕鉄の金型 for ¥20,000, gather Meteorite, process Meteorite ×5 with one accepted fuel, wait 12 hours for 隕鉄の延べ棒, and take the required upgrade materials to the Anvil.

Unlock Chain

How to unlock Meteorite tools

Follow the sequence in order; the unresolved timing is called out instead of being treated as an instant shop refresh.

01

Complete Sazanka progression

Finish the relevant Sazanka Helping Ticket. The current canonical task is Bring Copper Ore and requires Copper Ore ×5.

02

Check 田上雑貨店

After the Helping Ticket-related progression, check Sazanka's General Store for 隕鉄の金型 / Meteorite Mold.

03

Buy the Mold

The canonical shop stock record lists the Mold at ¥20,000. Exact refresh timing after the ticket is not independently confirmed.

04

Process and upgrade

Gather Meteorite, make Meteorite Ingots in the Furnace, then use the Anvil to upgrade one of the five eligible tools.

Sazanka's current project record awards a Brewing Barrel and records Anvil availability in the General Store the following day. Direct Japanese Mold evidence ties sale to completion of her Helping Ticket. These facts are compatible as a progression chain, but they do not prove that delivering Copper Ore ×5 immediately reveals the Mold.

Roadblock

Why the Mold may not be visible yet

The Sazanka data has two connected but differently timed records.

  • Ticket: Bring Copper Ore requires Copper Ore ×5; its reward includes Brewing Barrel.
  • Shop path: the task records Anvil in the General Store the following day.
  • Mold evidence: direct Japanese guide wording says the Mold is sold after completing Sazanka's Helping Ticket.
  • Still unresolved: whether a next-day refresh, follow-up interaction or another progression flag is required.

How to make Meteorite Ingots

Keep the fuel alternatives separate: you need one, not both.

Input material

隕鉄 / Meteorite ×5

The canonical raw resource ID is meteoric-iron; it is a Quarry ore used for the final metal chain.

Anvil

Use 金床 / Anvil for the final upgrade

The building record remains the authority for construction details.

Bring the Mold, Meteorite Ingots and the eligible tool to the Anvil after the relevant progression is open. The exact per-tool ingredient quantity, money cost, previous-tier prerequisite and upgrade time are not independently confirmed in the current source set.

Five Eligible Tools

Which tools can become Meteorite?

The current canonical tool model has exactly five metal-upgrade families. Sickle, Bow and Flashlight stay outside this chain.

Watering Can

隕鉄のジョウロ

5 tiles forward at the Meteor Iron tier in the canonical reach profile.

Axe

隕鉄のオノ

Pickaxe

隕鉄のツルハシ

Gold Ore and rare ore are documented as breakable in 2 hits; this does not mean every rock takes 2 hits.

Plow

Recipe caution: per-tool ingot costs, other materials, money, upgrade time and exact previous-tier requirements remain unknown. No unknown is rendered as zero, and no shared five-tool cost is inferred.

Upgrade Priority

Which Meteorite tool should you upgrade first?

Pick the tool that removes your current bottleneck, not a universal S-tier ranking.

MINING

Pickaxe first

If mining or tool-material progression is the bottleneck, prioritize the Pickaxe. Faster ore breaking helps feed the rest of the upgrade chain.

FIELDS

Watering Can or Hoe

For broad normal fields, choose the Watering Can for reach or the Hoe for a large tilled area. The canonical final profiles are 5 forward tiles and 5×5 respectively.

PADDY

Plow first

If rice, wasabi or other paddy work dominates your routine, the Plow's 5×5 final paddy area is the practical target.

WOOD

Axe first

Choose the Axe when tree clearing and wood demand are the real constraint. Exact Axe hit-count gains are not confirmed, so this is a use-case recommendation.

Pickaxe Performance

Meteorite Pickaxe: why it matters

Keep the documented two-hit claim narrow.

The current Japanese money-making guide specifically reports that Gold Ore and rare ore can be broken in 2 Pickaxe hits at the Meteorite tier. That makes the Pickaxe a strong first candidate for players who are mining for more ore and more ingots.

It does not establish that every rock, hard stone, boss rock or Quarry target takes two hits. Target-specific hit counts remain unresolved.

Boundaries

Common roadblocks

  • Mold missing: verify Sazanka's Helping Ticket progression, the correct 田上雑貨店, your money and any progression refresh; the exact timing is unresolved.
  • No Ingot: use Meteorite ×5 plus one fuel choice, not Coal and Charcoal together, and allow 12 hours.
  • Wrong upgrade: the current chain includes five tools only. Do not look for Meteorite Sickle, Bow or Flashlight recipes.
  • Pickaxe expectation: the 2-hit source claim covers Gold Ore and rare ore, not every rock.
  • Unknown cost: per-tool recipes are still open; do not assume all five tools consume the same quantity.

FAQ

Meteorite Tools questions

Answers stay within the verified chain and mark the gaps that still need direct recipe testing.

How do I unlock Meteorite tools?

Complete the relevant Sazanka Helping Ticket progression, buy the Meteorite Mold from 田上雑貨店 / Sazanka General Store for ¥20,000, make Meteorite Ingots in the Furnace, then use the Anvil for one of the five eligible tools.

Where do I get the Meteorite Mold?

The current direct guide evidence places 隕鉄の金型 / Meteorite Mold in Sazanka's General Store after the relevant Sazanka Helping Ticket progression. The canonical stock record is reused here.

How much does the Meteorite Mold cost?

¥20,000.

Does Copper Ore ×5 immediately unlock the Meteorite Mold?

Not confirmed. The canonical Sazanka task requires Copper Ore ×5 and records a Brewing Barrel reward plus an Anvil-in-the-General-Store path on the following day. Direct Mold evidence says the Mold follows completion of Sazanka's Helping Ticket, but the exact refresh or follow-up timing is unresolved.

How do I make a Meteorite Ingot?

Put Meteorite ×5 and either Coal ×1 or Charcoal ×1 into the Furnace. The documented processing time is 12 hours, producing 隕鉄の延べ棒 / Meteorite Ingot.

Which tools have Meteorite versions?

Exactly five current metal-upgrade chains: Watering Can, Hoe, Axe, Pickaxe and Plow.

Is there a Meteorite Sickle, Bow or Flashlight?

Not in the current canonical metal-upgrade system. Sickle progression is handled separately through Shrine Skills, while Bow and Flashlight have no Meteorite chain here.

Do I need Gold tools first?

The full Meteorite per-tool prerequisite is not independently confirmed in the current source set. Do not assume a Gold prerequisite or a direct-upgrade route until the recipe is verified.

Is the Meteorite Mold reusable?

Unresolved. The same named mold is listed for all five eligible tools, but current evidence does not establish whether it is consumed, reusable or a permanent recipe unlock.

How many Meteorite Ingots does each tool cost?

Per-tool Meteorite Ingot quantities, money costs, other materials and upgrade time are not independently confirmed, so this page does not invent a shared cost or total.

Where do I get Meteorite?

The current resource record places Meteorite / 隕鉄 in the Quarry. Japanese mining guides put first appearance around 91F and recommend the 111F–120F late-floor range; exact vein RNG remains a Mining-guide question.

Why is the Meteorite Pickaxe useful?

The sourced improvement is specific: Gold Ore and rare ore can be broken in 2 hits. That wording should not be expanded to every rock, boss rock or every Quarry target.

Does Meteorite equipment reduce stamina?

No such tier effect is independently confirmed here. Keep stamina reductions from Shrine Skills separate from metal-tool progression.

Which Meteorite tool should I upgrade first?

Choose by bottleneck. Pickaxe is the strongest first candidate when mining or tool-material progression is slowing you down; Watering Can or Hoe suit broad fields, Plow suits paddy work, and Axe suits heavy wood demand.
