House Renovation & Exterior Styles Guide

House renovation has two separate layers: structural upgrades that expand your home, and exterior styles that only change its appearance. Follow Nice House, Large House and Basement for function, then complete Chief Delivery categories to unlock five exterior styles through Tree Construction.

How to renovate

Use Kisuke's Renovation tab

Tree Construction remains the construction authority for structural and cosmetic house work.

01

Reach construction access

Follow story progression until Kisuke's construction service is available.

02

Finish the previous stage

Nice House precedes Large House; Large House precedes Basement.

03

Open Renovation

Use the Tree Construction notebook or renovation menu and select the available project.

04

Wait for the listed duration

The shared service is open 10:00–17:00 on weekdays and supports one active project at a time.

The current records do not establish one exact Rule, season or calendar day for the renovation menu. The listed build days are durations, not a guaranteed morning-after completion rule.

Nice House

Add the first functional upgrade

The first renovation makes the room slightly larger and adds a kitchen-equipped room.

The canonical record uses Wood ×100, Stone ×100, ¥8,000 and 2 days. This is a functional home upgrade, not an exterior-only change.

Large House / Two-Story House

Expand the second floor

The construction record calls this Large House; a visual source uses Two-Story House for the same stage.

These names are reconciled to one stable ID: large-house. It costs Wood ×200, Hard Stone ×100 and ¥40,000, takes 2 days, and exposes exterior-change options.

Basement

Add a lower room

Basement is the third documented stage after Large House.

It costs Wood ×400, Stone ×600, Weeds ×250 and ¥80,000, taking 2 days. Extra storage, aging, furniture capacity and other basement bonuses are not established.

Exterior customization

Five appearance-only styles

Large House exposes the style system, but each style changes the look of the home rather than its interior function, space or production.

The quantity patterns come from screen-derived evidence, but the material icons are not formally identified. This guide intentionally does not guess whether a quantity represents Wood, Clay, Stone or another item.

Troubleshooting

Why is the next option missing?

Check the real progression boundaries before assuming a material or style bug.

1.The previous structural stage is incomplete.
2.Another Tree Construction project is active.
3.The service is outside its 10:00–17:00 weekday window.
4.The full Chief Delivery category is incomplete; one subgroup is not enough for a style reward.
5.You are looking for Brick Exterior but only have craftable Brick items.
6.You are expecting a style to add floor space, furniture capacity or a production bonus.

FAQ

House Renovation questions

How do you upgrade your house?

Progress to Kisuke's Tree Construction service, open the Renovation tab, and order the next structural stage after completing its prerequisite and gathering the listed materials and money.

How much does Nice House cost?

Nice House costs Wood ×100, Stone ×100 and ¥8,000, with a listed two-day construction duration.

How much does Large House cost?

Large House costs Wood ×200, Hard Stone ×100 and ¥40,000, with a listed two-day construction duration.

How much does the Basement cost?

The Basement costs Wood ×400, Stone ×600, Weeds ×250 and ¥80,000, with a listed two-day construction duration.

When can I change the house exterior?

Exterior-change options are documented after the Large House stage. The style itself is then unlocked by completing its full Chief Delivery category.

How many exterior styles are there?

The current source set confirms five: Stucco, Thatched Roof, Western-style, Brick and Log House.

Do exterior styles change house size or functionality?

No. The exterior cards are appearance-only. House size, the kitchen-equipped room, second floor and basement come from structural renovations.

Can I switch exterior styles more than once?

Repeat switching, repeat material costs and previous-style persistence are not verified in the current source set, so the guide does not promise free or unlimited switching.

Are interior walls and floors the same as exterior styles?

No. Wallpapers and floors are separate interior renovation records installed through Tree Construction.
