Why Isn't the Book Here?
Not every Lost Book is present from the beginning. Current Japanese guide data states that some are added after story progression, while others may appear alongside related anomaly events. If the landmark is correct but the book is missing, advance the relevant story or anomaly progression before assuming the location is wrong.

The 55-book location list is now substantially complete in current Japanese guide data. The remaining research gap is not where the books are, but the exact availability trigger for every progression-gated or anomaly-related entry.
Japanese book titles are preserved so they can be matched reliably when the official English localization is released.

Are all Lost Books available from the start?
No. Current guide data states that some Lost Books appear after story progression or alongside related anomaly progression.
Why isn't a Lost Book at the listed location?
If the landmark is correct, the most likely reason is that its story, area or anomaly-related availability condition has not been met yet. This is not the only possible explanation.
Do Lost Books help with anomalies?
Yes. Some entries contain clues about anomaly behavior and solutions, while others focus on village history and lore.
What do you get for collecting all 55?
Current Japanese guide data reports a special reward from Nago: 彼ヶ津村大全, a furniture item that lets you review Lost Book entries without returning to the Library.
